Students: Complete your 40 hours of community involvement for graduation. See how WEvolunteer can help

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering can improve your resume, teach you new skills and connect you to new experiences and friends. If you have a specific skill, it's also likely that a local organization could really use your help.

If you don't have a lot of time, try volunteering for just one day or a couple of hours. Create a free volunteer profile to help us match you with potential opportunities in your neighbourhood.

How does it work?

1. Create a free volunteer profile. Answer a few questions and tell us about the skills you have now and the skills you want to learn.

2. Search the database. Local non-profits and registered charities will post volunteer opportunities to WEVolunteer.ca. Feel free to browse through those that match your profile and goals. Once you find the right volunteer opportunity, you can apply for the posting and contact that organization. If organizations are looking for specific skills or experience, they may contact you.

Please note that your contact information is never released unless you have given permission to do so.
